antispameurope brings cloud archiving to email program
Outlook plugin ensures improved workflow and saves time with email archiving
From the next release, a plugin for Outlook will be available to all users of antispameurope's email archiving services. This allows the security specialists from Hanover to ensure even easier operation, better workflow and large time savings in the use of its archiving service, which it markets as a managed security service on the cloud. With the Outlook plugin, the user can directly access their email archive without having to log in to the control panel first. Two features are centrally important: the archive search and direct archiving of emails.
With the Outlook plugin, users who want to search their email archive can use the same search options that are already offered in the antispameurope control panel. Emails can be opened directly from the search results. In addition, users have direct access to file attachments. The "reply and forward" function allows users to edit the retrieved messages as normal or send them to appropriate recipients. A further benefit is the full text search: this feature also searches file attachments such as PDF or Word documents for the entered search term.
The second function allows users to archive messages directly. To do so, the user marks one or several emails in Outlook and stores a copy in the archive via the plugin. This means that messages that arrived in the user's Outlook inbox before starting to use antispameurope's archiving solution can also be archived. This offers users a simple and straightforward way to keep their email inboxes small and manageable, as they have access to their email archive at all times. This is also a considerable relief for administrators: individual mailboxes require less disk space. This in turn relieves the Exchange server as most mails are transferred onto the cloud.
The new features are automatically available to all antispameurope users, as always without any effort for administrators and at no additional cost.
