antispameurope provides more self-administration in the Control Panel
With version 4.54, partners and administrators are able to configure email encryption and auditing access themselves
Hanover, 06/09/2011 - With version 4.54 of its Control Panel, antispameurope provides users, administrators and partners with several new innovations that allow them to set up and administer additional features of the solution from the cloud security specialists from Hanover. The most important updates include the set up of email encryption and audit access for auditors. Moreover antispameurope provides improved handling of its central administration tool.
From now on administrators can set up and manage email encryption for their users themselves. The options available are TLS (Transport Layer Security) and S/MIME. PGP will also be available as an encryption option within a short time. Moreover, individual settings can be carried out for users, groups or domains so that encryption can be enforced when communicating with individual communication partners. The certificates required for encrypted communication can be ordered directly from the Control Panel by mouse click.
In the case of an audit, administrators can set up an auditing access for email archives. It is only necessary to set a checkmark for this – subsequently a user can be selected as auditor. The duration of the audit and length of time can then be entered, as well as which emails of a certain period of time should be made available. A second partner is required to approve the start of the audit with a password, according to the principle of dual control. The administrator is provided with an auditing log in which he can follow the activities of the audit, the time the auditor has been logged in and which emails has been checked. antispameurope partners can continue to carry out all administrator functions in the Control Panel for their customers as usual.
