Extensive update from antispameurope - Control Panel 4.50 ensures greater efficiency and visibility

Simpler use, an easier interface and improvements to individual solutions for companies - antispameurope offers its users numerous innovations with the Version 4.50 Control Panel. The Hanover security specialists have, in particular, developed several new features for archiving email and for its Continuity Service. A revision of the management area immediately simplifies the management of partners, customers and domains. A further innovation is the option to use the services of antispameurope even without one’s own email server, simply using POP3/IMAP mailboxes.

Users of antispameurope’s email archiving can now display the storage being used in the archive. The duration of the archive is now also immediately modifiable on an individual basis. This is particularly relevant, for example, in the case of job applicant data. This should not be stored for longer than a year. By contrast, companies must store other business emails for six, ten or, in some cases, even thirty years for inspections and audits. With Version 4.50, clients can now set up the necessary audit access themselves. Clients can define the length of the access and the duration of the archive to be audited. The Continuity Service has been completely redesigned; it now provides users with a webmail interface, with which they can continue to receive, process and send emails without interruption if a mail server goes down. This minimizes any resulting losses of time and money. A further advantage for individual Continuity users is the option to use Outlook directly via a POP3/ IMAP access with the usual profile to send and receive emails without delay. More generally, with this update, customers who have until now not had their own email servers can now use POP3/IMAP mailboxes managed by antispameurope. The accounts are set up through the Control Panel. CEO Daniel Hoffmann comments, “We are responding to the requests of our partners who support small and medium enterprises.”

Importantly for partners and administrators, antispameurope has further improved the administrative functions with improved visibility and user-friendliness. The layout has been redesigned; tabs, buttons and icons have been restructured; and the search function simplified. Daniel Hoffmann says, “As a provider of managed services, we want to help simplify our customers’ and partners’ work. This is also our primary consideration in the design of the Control Panel. The improved options include, in particular, customization by the partner (white labeling), multi-customer capability and full transparency of all the data streams being processed.”
