CURRENT: antispameurope works with TeleTrusT and Cloud Services Made in Germany

antispameurope is expanding its involvement in various interest groups: with membership in TeleTrusT and the “Cloud Services Made in Germany”, the cloud security specialist from Hanover supports knowledge development in the areas of IT security and cloud computing. antispameurope is already a member of the associations eco and EuroCloud Germany_eco.

By joining TeleTrusT Germany, antispameurope became a member of an IT security organisation. The goal of TeleTrusT is to create a reliable framework for the trusted use of information and communication technology. In doing so, TeleTrusT has developed into a recognised competence network for IT security in Germany and Europe over the years. TeleTrusT represents over 100 members from industry, science, research and public institutions. As part of the TeleTrusT Cloud Computing work group, antispameurope is involved in developing practice-oriented sample applications and outline solutions, especially for medium-sized users.

The Cloud Services Made in Germany initiative has taken on the mission of providing greater legal security for German cloud users. Members of the initiative use the applicable legal norms in Germany as the basis for closed contracts with customer. Taking part in the initiative are providers of various services in the area of cloud computing who are based in Germany.

"Associations combine the skills of their members, thereby contributing to keeping the public better informed. At the same time, the collaboration among various providers in associations has a normative effect and thus improves market transparency,” explains Oliver Dehning, Managing Director of antispameurope GmbH “It is therefore important to us to support TeleTrusT and the Cloud Services Made in Germany initiative to help make the issues of cloud computing and IT security more familiar to the public and to promote their use.”
