INSIDE: Notification Service – How it Works.
A customer sets up a new employee, the email archiving service is enabled or the final date for accounts is approaching; some activities of partners and customers can only be followed with difficulty. As of version 5.0 of the Control Panel, antispameurope offers the “Notification Service”. This allows you to set eight different events for partners to be automatically informed about. The corresponding notification templates can also be defined in the Control Panel. The eight events are:
- New customer created
- Email archiving is enabled
- Email archiving is disabled
- A customer is activated
- A new product is entered
- The end of a test period is approaching
- The end of the accounting period is approaching
- The number of users has changed
If a partner goes to the Control Panel and selects the Notification Service, then he can select the customer at the top left for whom he wishes to set up the automatic notification. Next, he can define in the table the type of event, the recipient (individual users or groups), as well as the time for the notice to be sent.
Depending on the event, the notice can be sent before or after the event has occurred. It makes sense, for example, to send notification one week before the end of a test phase. If a new product has been activated, however, the partner can instead receive a message immediately or even a few days after.
The various messages can be individually adapted; this is done in the “Management” area. To do so, simply click the corresponding partner in the left window and then click the “Template” tab in the right window. Tip: Partners can also customize their notifications to their corporate design.
